My wife and I have the same job for the same company. we both now work from home, different shifts. Our computer is in use from 5:00 AM (when I usually get up) until midnight, when she gets off of work.
At work I used to get breakfast in the morning and eat at my desk, then for lunch I would go to the cafe in my building. I would eat alone and read my book. This would help break up my day, plus give me time to decompress and get my mind off of work
Now that I working from home, I make breakfast and eat it at my desk, and for lunch I eat in the kitchen. Trying to keep my same schedule/routine. Sadly eating in my kitchen isn’t as relaxing as eating at the cafe at work, because the kitchen is too noisy/busy.

Actually, I eat at my desk when I’m at work. When I work from home, I can eat my lunch while I relax on the couch. Much better.

Now I eat lunch at the dining room table with my wife who is also working from home. Which gives us a new level of social nearness.

He should try social distancing with his food to avoid accidents like this!

I ate lunch at my desk, reading on-line comics when I was working. I eat in the kitchen now; it keeps the crumbs off the keyboard.

Are you kidding me? No self respecting geek would ruin a pizza like that. Drip it down the front of their shirt maybe…

Who HASN’T eaten food by a laptop and dropped food on it? OK, don’t all speak up at once.

He isn’t qualified to eat pizza..he seems to be pairing grape juice with pizza. I “just say no” to that.

Heck I always eat my meals at my desk at the office, anyway. My keyboard is satisfyingly crunchy.

It’s 19:44 here, and I’m sitting at my desk, eating my dinner… :-)

Thank you for not spilling on your keyboard!

If you do, put a sheet of cling wrap over your keyboard… keeps the droppings from gumming it up!
