Turkeys are not vegans. I live in the country and one year we had a lot of snow so we took the turkey carcass out in the backyard woods for the deer, racoons, fox, etc to eat off of – and when we looked out – the Turkey were eating the Turkey carcass.

My sister-in-law is vegan and is content to let us eat what we want as long as she has a reasonable choice to eat.

Turkeys will eat just about anything they can swallow. They will eat mice, small snakes, bugs, etc. if they can catch them.
