Frankly, this is genius, and a perfect summation of most corporations’ attitudes. The one I’m with just tried to ruin a colleague’s vacation with the same general presentation.
I love the name of the soft drink(Pensacola). I spent time there while I was at the Naval School of Photography(assuming that you were referencing the city in Florida. Yes, that was MANY years ago!
It’s not so much a “Great Resignation” as a “Great Resignification.” BTW, remember when E.Musk told Tesla employees if they wanted to keep their jobs they should be in the office M – F? Well, Apple, Google and other companies in Silly Valley have reported an influx of 300+ former Tesla employees joining their ranks in the last few weeks.
Hey, Kimmie’s boyfriend is actually talking sense for once, even if it simply an observation.
Way too many managers are this way! Like we’ve heard many times, people don’t leave bad jobs, they leave bad bosses. I’ve wondered why the boss’s bosses don’t recognize this more often. I had one boss who called me after my father died (day after the funeral, and I was taking one week off). She said something to the effect of “Yes, it’s too bad your father died, but we have a lot to do”, and wanted me back right away (I ignored her).

Is it because you have to listen to other people talk? Or is it because jobs treat their employees like trash? Hmmm.

Poor Kimmie. She is lousy at picking men to talk to or be with.
