As I recall, in Spanish you can leave “yo” out and the verb form implies it. So maybe we should adopt that and, for instance, “am going to the store” would be sufficient.
Language structure is pretty impressive if you think about it. Who thought that there would be some kind of structure and order with all the languages in the world? What determines sentence structure of nouns, verbs, adverbs, adjectives, conjunctions, etc? Future tense, past tense, present tense? Even the characters we use for our alphabet? Who thought of all this? It is impressive.
