The main problem I always had with human resources was that they always had the mistaken notion they actually ran the company.
And while I’m at it, when and why did the “Personnel Department” change to “Human Resources” across the entire corporate world? No one in HR was ever able to tell me.

They changed when companies started viewing their employees as “resources” rather than persons.
