I had to read Proust’s Swann’s Way for a college course and it was the most excruciatingly dull read I’ve ever endured.

He did have a thing about lost time. Christopher Nolan ought to make a movie about him.

It’s the kind of cookbook that makes you feel at tome.

I’m almost through Book 2. I have decided not to die until I finish all 5 volumes.

This is a joke for people with a degree in the humanities. I have two B.A.s in sciences so I have no idea that he is referring to Marcel Proust’s “Remembrances of Things Past” in THREE VOLUMES. It is his life remembrances supposedly triggered by the smell of freshly baked madeleines. My understanding is that, in coursework, it is all explained by an index which would comprise Volume 4. :)

As the saying goes, The proof of the pudding is in the eating. Or in this case, the reading.
