Cause we're not total idiots.....
Dogs are loved. Cats are destructive furniture. Dogs can be destructive, too, but when they’re not they’re loved. If only kittens wouldn’t turn into cats they’d be loved their entire lives, too.
I adopted my two kitty boys when they were kittens, and they bonded with my female Bichon Frise. They are grown now and are totally social and kind. They still treat my Bichon like there Mom, and take care of her now in her old age. I think it depends on who they grow up around, and how they’re treated.

Cats aren’t bad at forging relationships…humans are.

I’ve never had an aloof cat. I really don’t know anyone who does.
