A local chain restaurant had an employee, I guess busboy would be the position, who was mildly mentally challenged and would be frequently muttering to himself. Thought maybe if he had one of those Bluetooth side-of-the-head pieces, it wouldn’t seem odd.
It’s also moronic to actually listen to headphones in situations where you should be paying attention to what is going on around you, to avoid situations like this.
