I make a batch of hummus every week. My wife takes it to work each day — tried store bought stuff and hated it, but she likes mine. That is her preferred lunch, and who am I to argue? Besides, I like it, too. And no, I do not stomp on the chickpeas.
Hummus with a good olive oil, lemon and fresh lebanese bread. Some people just don’t understand how good it is.
Oh and have you tried the eggplant humus ?
And he’s saving time too. He’ll wash his after he’s finished stomping.
As they say “he put his foot in it.”
A good blender or, better yet, a Cuisinart food processor works much better.
Humus, not hummus.
It’s a great way to keep your blood lipids in line without statins.
A definite homage to the famous stomping grapes episode from I Love Lucy.
There is at least one blender in the back of the cabinets, somewhere.
