    Fiction (Latin: fictum, “created”) is a branch of literature which deals, in part or in whole, with temporally contrafactual events (events that are not true at the time of writing). From the Wikipedia. It IS a comic strip, not a slice of life. Your comment sorta reminds me of Prez . Bush and his comment about Murphy Brown’s “pregnancy”, oh so many years ago.

    Wasn’t that Dan Quayle? The uproar was vociferous, but he was right. Single women have a tougher time raising a baby by themselves. The expression “Many hands lighten the load.” applies. Mom and Dad have an easier time when they help each other out. It becomes even easier if the grandparents chip in, too.
