reminds me of Lady, a miniture Dachshund -first time in snow she tunneled/poped up for location. After that…she would just stand on the porch and give you THAT look.

Why bother to shovel? It looks like the snow is deep enough to tunnel a fort.

I remember snow about that deep; there’s a photograph of (we’ll just say) my 5-year-old brother and my 4-year-old self in that much snow.
Cagney didn’t sink as far down in the snow because of the difference he’d have in weight/matter displacement.
