Keep the faith, Jan! He works in mysterious ways!
Does this count as Machina Ex Deus?
She must drive a Toyota.
What a crock !
It’s a comic drew…. I wanna know how she prayed too
Talk about luck, geez!
Silly me. I read “pink envelope” and I thought “pink slip”. I expected the worst. Guess I don’t pray enough.
I agree Doctor Toon.
I’m reminded of a joke.
A man was working on the roof of a house and started to slip. As he slide towards the edge and certain doom, he prayed for a miracle to save him.
As he reached the edge and was about to slide off, a nail caught on his belt and stopped his slide.
He then said, “Never mind Lord. This nail saved me.”
Especially in fiction (where prayer ALWAYS works).
