Actually, I think she likes Zack more than either admits. Kids who argue are actually thinking about what’s going on. They may not express it appropriately because they’re … kids, but they show great potential.
Back in the mid 50s in a physical chemistry class we were told don’t worry about remembering something you can look up in a minute. if you remember, fine , but don’t sweat it.
I’m on the teacher’s side on this. Memorizing stuff is a great brain exercise. Depending too much on electronics to do the thinking for you is detrimental. It’s fine to get whatever information you need, but memorizing it afterward is better than having to continuously refer to a computer to get the information again and again. It’s no wonder some people don’t know history or geography.
