Campaign promises are what the candidate would really like to do, if you have an honest one, and yes they do exist. Obama and Sanders are honest. If they are dishonest they say whatever they think you want them to say. That’s Hilllary and all the Republicans. Either way, once elected, they have to try to do all that lovely stuff in the real world. They usually manage some of it, which is why we bother to vote at all, but never as much as we would like to see.
