One and the same and one in the same, are one AND the same , er,, or One IN the same. ,, i’m confused. Just forget it. You say tomato, I say tomahto, let’s call the whole thing off.
Wonder if he’s aware that Superman has just (or is just about to) reveal his secret identity to the whole world?
Not sure I remember that “one and the same” expression from the comics, but it was used in The Adventures of Superman, in an episode where Lois dreams that she and Superman have fallen in love and are going to get married. At one point she gets cold feet, and tells him that she’s worried that she really loves Clark. That’s when Superman tells her, “Clark Kent and I are one and the same person.”
I also love that episode for Clark’s vehement refusal (prior to the scene described above) when Lois tells him that she and Superman would like him to be their best man.
