My better 1/3 just bought a gargantuan bag of “Fun sized” Snickers, Twix, Milky Way, and Three Musketeers at Sam’s Club. Probably four or five pounds. We haven’t had a trick or treater here in twenty-five years.
A week or so ago, I bought two large bags of Halloween candy during a sale and left them in the car trunk. Informed the missus of said fact. One bag remains. I consider this a victory. So far.
