More journalists and those in the media should be doing more to reveal the truths that are behind all the gaslighting. Much of the gaslighting probably continues because that would reveal that they (“journalists” and media sources) have been complicit in the gaslighting.
Sadly, it seems that many people allow it and help it to continue because they don’t want or like what the truth is or they are still so deeply gaslighted that they still don’t realize that it has happened and that it is still happening.
