In trade school you learn how to actually accomplish work. I took some business courses in college, where you learn that you are supposed to manage those people who are doing productive work, and you are assured that you can manage anything even if you have no idea how to do it yourself. And, because you have a piece of paper that says so, you make more money than the person who actually does the work. Great Scam.

skip college, go to a trade school, and you can possibly even BUY your own house before the college kids graduate and move back in with mommy.

I informed my children that, once they left/finished school, they could remain at home for two years, while working and paying room and board.
