We have to make room for those to come. Death is not necessarily the enemy. That much was clear when I worked as an RN.
I’m not seeking out death, but I won’t run from it. Being in pain nonstop for nearly 25 years, plus my health worsening has only made this more true.

Every time I hear about people being deported from our nation for not having the proper documentation I think about the terrible loss we are suffering. The potential for greatness that all those people bring to our land, lost. Lost because of fear, ignorance and a misplaced conception of the law and right and wrong.
How do we resolve the issue? We make it easier for immigrants to get documentation in the first place. Increase the number of people processing requests.
People are the greatest natural resource in the world, and we squander it like fools.
