Ziggy: I read tha the universe is racing away from teh earth at over 15,000 miles per second. I wonder if it know something we don't.
Ummm… It’s not “the Universe” that is racing away at a certain speed; rather, it is expanding, and parts of the Universe – galaxies, say – that are further away are racing away from us faster than parts that are nearby.
