We seem to have lost track of logic here.
Today is the first day of the rest of your life.
Tomorrow is the second day of the rest of your life.
Tomorrow, tomorrow will be the first day of the rest of your life.
(Why put off until tomorrow what you can put off until tomorrow tomorrow?)
Theory says time jumps in very, very small increments. This means that each moment is gone almost as soon as it existed. So each moment is gone in the smallest tic of time. Since past and future do not exist and the present is the smallest tic of time, we exist only from the smallest tic of time to the next tic of time.
Then our very existence is in question.
I wish there was no tomorrow. My little Sun Conure parrot died Saturday morning of sudden complications, and her little brother and I are completely devastated. I don’t want to live another day without her.
Ziggy’s parrot doesn’t represent reality, and the anti parrot comments it generates are seriously misguided and hurtful to those of us who know their love.
Just saying, even though there’s no parrot bashing today.
