Years ago, our power equipment business had an agreement with K-Mart to repair (under warranty) any McCulloch products K-Mart sold. Interesting to note, almost 100% of the products returned to us by K-Mart were perfectly good; i.e., there was absolutely nothing wrong with the product..The reason was K-Mart’s asinine no questions asked returns policy! They would take anything back from any purchasing customer for virtually any reason for virtually any length of time. So, you could buy a toaster, a suit, a dress, underwear, or a McCulloch string trimmer and bring it back for a full refund with no questions asked; regardless of how long you owned (or wore) the item!.I have never even been in a K-Mart or Wally World so I don’t know what their current policy is; however, this ridiculous returns policy was seriously abused, and unfortunately, the cost is born by the honest, responsible customer!
