Not that far from me is a golf course that has a house around the 8th green/9th tee. It’s all fenced in. Apparently, it was there before the course was built. Signs on the fence warn golfers that any balls that land inside the fence are no longer their property and will not be returned.Reminds me of the gag that a candidate for university president back during the student riots of the 70s declined the offer when he was told that the president’s residence was just a stone’s throw from the campus.
