The science program NOVA covered this many years ago. (Yes, science. That awful thing that too many people have no interest in, getting their knowledge from Fox News and Rush instead. Easy to spot as they’re usually the idiots who don’t know the difference between climate and weather.) It’s true to some extent. While we have been pumping too much CO2 into the atmosphere and causing warming, we have also been pumping a lot of soot into the air, which blocks some sunlight and reduces solar gain, a phenomenon called global dimming. If not for global dimming, we would be in even worse shape today. But we can’t go around blasting millions of tons of fine particles into the air trying to offset climate change completely.
With all the forest fires in the American West, and now in Spain, how much carbon, ash, and other natural chemicals has been put in the atmosphere this year alone. Where is BHO and his climate Nazis while this is happening?? And what about the Earth’s volcanos?? How come BHO has shut them down since he thinks he is God??
Nothing has changed where I live so climate change isn’t real! And it even SNOWS in the winter!
Honestly, people. Science is NOT a liberal conspiracy. The science is real. The North Pole is now underwater in the summer. The Northwest Passage is real. Sea levels are rising and many coastal cities are already in danger. The Antarctic is crumbling.
This is NOT an event that was expected to happen “in due course.” When I was a teen, science was predicting global cooling, based on the NATURAL cycles. Those natural cycles have been disrupted.
It may already be too late. But hey, it still snows in the winter where “I” live so who cares? And based on the predictions, the Midwest may even become a lush temperate zone, so hey, some of us will benefit.
With all the greenhouse gases we pump into the air, how could man NOT be affecting the climate? We’re talking CLIMATE as opposed to WEATHER.

Change is happening. One way or another. Anyone who thinks it isn’t hasn’t graduated from 5th grade. The planet will go hot as of now. Sea levels will rise. Will disruptions in the global ocean currents, if they happen, cause more change? Of course. Anyone who is a denier doesn’t have the educational background to figure that out.
