Obviously not one of the “Ziggy as incurable optimist” strips. I’m happy to have a day. Think about the alternative. Or think about how much worse your day could be. You could be homeless. You could be jobless. You could live in the area in Italy that was devastated by the earthquake. To coin a phrase, it’s a wonderful life.
I have come to the conclusion that: If you wake up, can get out of bed & get dressed & are able to get out of the house, or do what you want or need in the house- it’s a wonderful day. Too many can’t do all that or even some of that.
