Just use a pencil. But with Ziggy’s luck the point would break and he wouldn’t have a pencil sharpener.
I have an ink-gel pen that erases. Works great, too.

We never seem to run out of pens or pencils! I’m pretty sure they are breeding in the drawers where they are stored…
