Yup. Remember those old cars. The kind that anybody good with a socket wrench and pliers could fix anything wrong with the car in their garage and have it back on the road again within hours. Example, them good ole boys on the Dukes of Hazzard.

My grandson’s 2012 Malibu has a burnt out headlight. The bumper needs to be removed to replace the bulb.

Sounds like my 1st new car a 1973 AMC Gremlin (Levi’s addition). It was always a problem, had lots of Gremlins. Like (AMC) itself a defunct car company the Gremlin is also defunct. (coming back as a collectors item.)

They build them the way they do today so you have to buy a new one every few years. Nothing seems to be built to last anymore.

The car is not the problem. The problem is that you don’t know how to work on it….

They don’t make them like they used to, and they probably never did.
