Random musings:

(1) There are indeed a lot of references to The Flintstones in today’s strips. Probably coincidence, and that good cartoonists just can’t help but be inspired by the classics.

(2) Many people are wondering about the accuracy of the medium’s suggestion that Ziggy is related to Fred Flintstone. That he’s one of Ziggy’s ancestors doesn’t have to mean there’s a biological connection; she could be referring to Ziggy’s cartoonological ancestry.

Ever noticed how every looser today was the same winner in the past.
