My dad turns Ninety next month. He doesn’t have many friends left.

Like the scene in MASH where the Colonel shares the old wine with all his new friends.

John Candy (1950-1994) was his own best friend in the Star Wars parody movie.

I hope he went to their funerals so that they will come to his.

His life is a Who’s who of who’s left!

I plan on doing that.

George Burns said it best. I would date women my own age but there aren’t any..

You must have a positive approach to life. I like myself! I’m going to live forever.. I will make new friends.

Maybe you can find some new ones with some common interests.

You can’t make (new) old friends.

If you don’t die, everyone you know does…

This is me. All my relatives have died and all my friends have either died or moved far away. I still keep busy and am happy.

Over the years, some of my old friends have passed away or moved away (or, in my case, I was the one who moved). So now I am making new friends, most of whom are much younger than me. It all works out in the end!

Sad. :-)
