I might have been the first neighbor to cave in. I moved out early on when the butterflies moved out and the dragon flies moved in!

And, it’s infested with… humans!

Many of the organisms that cause a neighborhood to go downhill are invasive species – often times brought in by people (sometimes inadvertently, sometimes not).

But the new bugs that have really changed life outdoors are the deer tics with Lyme disease.
