happens every year pretty much; there’ll never be “good old days”

The problem with nostalgia says I is that we tend to remember the good times in a given era and forget the rest of the story.;-D

Not hard to believe, just scary.

Only because we had a bunch of ol’ folk in charge

It’s not like the old days.

I shudder to think of ever going back there again. Thank goodness this not science fiction where you can go back and ‘fix’ things again. People would only end up in a worse situation than what it is today.

But they will…it’s called selective memory…which applies to everything in your past…except High School…which you remember with terrifying clarity

the good ol days will pass them by because they’re still staring at their phones

We can only hope.

I have looked throughout history and have yet to find the " Good old days???

No it’s not. If the Dems stay in power, the country is going straight down the tubes.

Actually, having lived for over seventy-five years, I find it scary that the probabilities are that we WILL!

Ziggy, your fish, your dog, your cat, your parrot make the days better. You are there every day as a reminder that good does happen every day and that humor does get you through.

2019 and before will be the Good Old Days. The concept being highly relative.

I don’t recall anyone calling the last great depression “The Good Old Days.” I doubt this one will qualify either.

Ziggy’s concerns would be more appropriate if the headline on his newspaper referred to The Big Lie.

The “good old days” happened in 1971.

Nope nope nope. Not this year. In fact, not this particular decade. Right now I look back on the sixties as the good old days.
