This happens every time Ziggy tries to think big.

I loose some of my best ideas that way!

Well Zigg, you are almost outside of the box. You think you are writing on a sheet of paper with your pencil. In reality, you are actually outside of the sheet of paper – and you are writing on the green desktop instead!

Sometimes when I think outside the box, my thoughts seem to escape me.

All comics need to be kept inside the BOX, you all know what happened when they let Jessica Rabbit out of the box! And that incident with Holli Would.

No one ever said making a masterpiece was easy.

With the rounded edges, and thinking in 3D, maybe it’s more of a bottle. In which case, perhaps a Klein bottle, and Ziggy is already outside…

There’s always a bigger box.

On top of that there is a grey box area above GoComics page and the browser heading. Looks like it was made for an ad that didn’t appear. I have to scroll to see the whole comic.
