Did the Deputy shoot the Sherriff with a tranquilizer dart, or, with a regular bullet? If the latter, the Sherriff would be more than “ka-knocked out.”

Ka-thwip to the sheriff and out he goes :)

Okay – this is starting to feel like a sleeper agent plot, where hypnotized “agents” are triggered by hearing the phrase “All Hail Skull.” I think I saw that in a movie or TV show somewhere. The “agent” didn’t know they had been conditioned until they heard the phrase.

Hopefully this is a prelude to ending the strip!

KA-TRANQILIZER DART!

Ah, so the Deputy is a Skull agent. Wouldn’t be surprised if that smarmy TV anchorman is also a Skull agent.

Best possible finale twist? Rip is telling this story to the Gang of Unknowns months after their capture in front of a reluctant Drysdale, to remind them that Skull has always needed Rip(and vice versa as he would get ‘bored’ with Breezy). Think of Dateline, but more quirky. After this intentional fiasco, a ending like that better be.

Hmmm… perhaps Dan is comic-KA-ECHOing what may be coming as deep-Skull-state fiends get cleared out of high places…. Hmmmm Hmmmm Hmmmm!

Now the cute redhead deputy is a Skull agent too, I hope the redhead who is with Popokitty-Tiger isn’t one of them.

When’s RJ, errr Tank Tucker gonna show up? And where does he stand?
