Cathy: I deserve time to myself to sit and do nothing......Just as Susan deserves the birthday card I haven't sent......Beth deserves the wedding gift I haven't bought......Marcia deserves the thank-you note I haven't written...I lovingly surrender to the simple joy of being......Being ten minutes from a dog who waited all week to play......Being eleven minutes from a basket of unanswered mail......Being fifteen minutes from a desk full of overdue work...I am reconnecting to mother earth......While mother human sits by the phone with father human wondering why I can't find two seconds to call the people who gave me life...OUCH! OOCH! OUCH! Woman: Need sunblock? Cathy: Need guilt block.
