Ketchup (or catsup, if you prefer) on a hot dog? I did that when I was a kid, but I grew up.

When I have to settle for the 99 cent a pack hot dogs (whose ingredients list is just “You don;t want to know”), I’ll use all sorts of condiments to cover the taste. Barbeque sauce, salsa, onions, sauerkraut, cheez, horseradish, whatever I can find!

I’m from the south. Mustard, slaw, chili and onions!

Just to clarify: I do like other toppings, occasionally. Kraut, chili, onions, cheese, relish, or any combination, especially on “inferior” dogs. But all I need to be happy is a good hot dog and a shot of mustard. (Well, more than a shot, actually. I like mustard.)
