Alex was a great character who played one of the greatest characters in the movies. Well played, Sir.

could someone explain this cartoon to an age 80 American that does not have a clue as to who Mr. Mongo is…or what the Winged Equine represents….and why is Mr. Mongo abusing an animal (on earth or in heaven where God frowns on humans abusing animals and humans on earth)?

^“Mongo” was a character in Mel Brooks’ movie “Blazing Saddles”. The “winged equine” refers to a horse Mongo hits. (And btw, the horse was just well trained, no actual violence or damage to the horse.)

I thank you dtroutma….so “Mongo” just died? (Alex Karras then, is an actor?) thanks for the info.-swr, I am a greatgrandmother and Mel Brooks type movies don’t appeal to me. Thanks, anyway. (I prefer tv Hallmark movies…and good SciFi….and NCIS and reruns of Perry Mason)
