There are ways you can visibly show your support to our men and women in service.Invite military from nearby military bases to share Thanksgiving or even Christmas with you. Most of them are a long way from home.Send a box of useful goodies to a random soldier or sailor overseas. The military websites can tell you how and give you suggestions. If you see a person in uniform, or a man/woman wearing their US Veteran hat, tell them you appreciate their service, and if appropriate, shake their hand. And if you can, I’ve done this around 6 times, but a round of drinks for a table full of military. They appreciate all of the above, and they deserve much more.Respectfully,C.
11 November is not just the day for Veterans in the USA, but for many other countries as well. Throughout the British Commonwealth it is called Armistice Day, and reminds us of the price of Peace.

“Welcome home”, all veterans, and all those still serving who have given so very much in this ongoing endless deployments fiasco.

Thank You to all Veterans, including those in here that I disagree with. Thank you for your dedicated service to our country and what it stands for!
