Speaking of past radio shows, I remember Mrs. Bubwashington on the Dagwood and Blondie show. " My dear Daggie" is what I remember. that she called him.

" My dear Daggie" is what I remember. that she called him." ++++++++++++++++++++++++++Something close, and got my brain in a stir.. it was ‘Mrs. Buff-Orphington’ that would pull up in a loud-noised car to talk to Dagwood and Blondie.. the same woman (Isabel Randolph) played the part of ‘Lady Uppington’ on Fibber McGee’s show; with about the same act, only with the usual open and door-slamming routine..Jeeez… I miss the ol’ Philco..

Reminds me of an old Twilight show, where a man had an old radio that played old radio shows.
