APT3G: someone had the idea that there is a BOMB in the package and that has made this even more exciting!
REX MORGAN: I’m hoping this strip will get more interesting. In the vintage Rex Morgan which I think is from the ’60’s there is a male character slapping a young woman in today’s strip. I was surprised to see this just as much as all of the characters’ chain smoking.
MARY WORTH: I may not bake a cake any time soon because of my diet but I have been enjoying picking a recipe from Betty Crocker’s book. Once I’ve made it, I find it very easy to prepare again.
It’s the time of year for making lists – see Six Chix.Rex – Catering? Do they serve anything but beer?A3G – I’m thinking this gift is dangerous, but has this strip ever gone in that direction?Mary Worth – Beauty of nature – nice theme, but the picture we see is ordinary festoons and little dots.Mark Trail – Who needs a gun when you have a fishing pole?Sally Forth – I don’t know about pushing the envelope, but it is a little quirky. They occasionlly break the fourth wall or something like it. A couple of days ago Ted talked about a “plot line”. I am surprised Hillary and John have maintained a long distance relationship, but it’s still an innocent “puppy love”.

APT3G: Evan has an over-sized ego. I hope Margo and greg catch him in the act (whatever is in the “gift” box).
REX MORGAN: Melissa may go for Rex’s idea.
MARY WORTH: Forget the theme, just make some delicious icing!
SALLY FORTH: I still think these 12-year-olds are going way overboard.
