Good morning, everyone. The AT&T techie who came yesterday put everything back the way I liked it, but I now have wi-fi throughout my apartment. I don’t know why the 1st technician had to tear everything apart.

Morning, Village.@Arye, because he obviously didn’t know what he was doing.

Friday we went shopping for vanity lights for the bathrooms and got one of them installed. We painted all day yesterday and got the ceilings in two bedrooms and two closets done. The wife painted the crown molding in the Great Room and then we pulled up the huge drop cloth that covered the entire Great Room floor. Man, this is hard work.

    Good Morning, Everyone,

We prepared for this big snowstorm that was to have hit overnight………..chopped extra firewood, and brought it into the garage, closed up the green house, backed the car into the garage to get out easier (snow drifts get pretty steep at the door)…….and…….you guessed it……not a flake! Missed us entirely!

dkram…….yes, I think it’s Mama Timbo. We have named one of our Mule Deers “Mama Timbo”……..she likes to lay down in the shade of our trees in the hot afternoons….and it starts in May when she’s very pregnant, and continues all through the summer with her babies. awwwww

Having a snow storm today, NOT a blizzard, only 3 to 5 inches. Very light, strong winds so we are having some drifting. About 20 degrees out. Just staying inside and keeping warm. Will worry about digging out when it stops. ttT That’s one thing about being retired.

    Good morning Vagabonds.

I was a little confused about the Mama Timbo/Mama Tembo (mother of elephants) question. I always thought it was Tembo, so I looked it up several places online. While I can’t find a reference specific to “Dallas” in Hatari, several places defined Tembo as meaning elephant.Of course that doesn’t include Tarzan who always called them Tantor.
