Jason DOES have point…Hey Jason, Got an idea!! If you can obtain advance warning what your mom’s cooking. A good few hours before dinner, say you’re going to a friends house (preferably one where you know the food is definitely good and very hospitable and willing to feed you) for a little “study group” and you have your dinner there. Doing a little bit of planning ahead though with a few back-up contingency plan… See if you can enlist your big bother and sister’s help and maybe Dad too… But than again, you might get their help without much convincing anyway…

Search out Pajama Diaries today. A rebuttal to Jason’s complaint. And yet, when children grow up, they long for Mom’s meals. Even the ones they used to complain about.

Mom was a lousy cook. My older brother learned how to cook because of it and I learned from my mother-in-law. I still remember the Sunday he took me for a ride and we stopped and had a dungeness crab. Got home and she couldn’t understand why we weren’t hungry for dinner after she’d spent the day cooking.

Andy will never understand why her husband and kids don’t like her cooking.
