Cathy: Want to see my vacation pictures? Charlene: How did you get vacation pictures so fast? Cathy: What are you talking about? We've been back for ten days! Charlene: We haven't even printed pictures from Christmas yet! We didn't even download the memory card for Haloween, 2002...and you had prints in ten days? Cathy: I had prints in one hour. Charlene: An hour! Hoo, boy! It takes us that long to find our user guides!

And this is Cathy?? I would think that the roles would be reversed. Isn’t she normally like a year behind on her Christmas cards?Hello Cathy clan! Hope you have a good Monday! First full week of school starts here, so let’s see how the girls do. I enjoyed going grocery shopping by myself this morning. :-)

The risk of technology gags. It took less time then to get prints back than it does for references to technology to become dated.

Now Charlene’s a blond again. She must want to have more fun.

One of the advantages of film. No cards to download….

I can kind of identify with Charlene today. My husband transfers digital pictures from our camera and phones to his computer about as soon as we take them . . . but getting them from there to actual print is an entirely different story. He’s got pictures stored there that were taken 2 or 3 [maybe even more!] years ago that I’m still waiting for “development” in order to put them in my photo albums!
Hi, rgcviper!

Gosh, Cathy! You’re on a roll! Pictures back in 1 hour! Heheheh, if your comic took place now, you’d have pictures on your computer almost instantaneously! Hope everyone had a great Monday (I am just signing on because I got all caught up in FB)… =-O

Yup—this one’s quite a throwback now, ain’t it?
