@masterskrain: Hobbes is real, and he just pretends to be stuffed when others are around. He also pretends to be smaller. The hardest part for him is not reacting and pretending to be lifeless when Mom does the stitches.There – see how neatly it all works out?

@Vince M: Yes – I have that View-Master set. Even today, kids can be amazed when they first look at a View-Master reel and discover the 3-D effect.

Here’s what seems to be happening when you post a comment: When you press submit, your message posts, but below the refresh button. If you press submit again (to get the post in the “right” place) you get two copies. Deleting either copy deletes both. If you leave both copies alone, one will eventually magically disappear.

@JP Steve and @Tacopielvr: When the two copies appear, if you refresh the screen by using the refresh button at the top of your browser, rather than clicking on “Refresh Comments” at the bottom of the list, the duplicate comment will disappear and the list of comments will look normal again. Clearly a software bug that GoComics needs to fix.

…i don’t always disagree with omnius; i just think in this case he went ballistic with no real grounds to do so…

The double-comments thing was really 2 there for awhile this weekend, then we started getting the “phantom” comments. Hope it’s fixed by now.
