What’s so bad about tongue? Does Tia Carmen season it up severely? I loved it growing up: great Sunday dinner treat.

Lengua Lampriada, boiled, sliced, batter dipped, fried, covered with a Tampiqueña sauce, served with rice and beans, fresh corn tortillas, hechos a mano. Heaven!

I don’t remember Little Iodine as a radio show, just as a comic strip. I do remember Baby Snooks on radio – with Fanny Brice in the title role. Not an archival recording.

I’m pretty sure that it tastes better than what they want us to believe. They’re just grossed by the fact it’s a tongue.
