I know I was! My orthodontist was a jerk. He was so crabby and treated me rotten. I was just a kid so I was intimidated by him. He told me I was his worst patient because I was not able to open my mouth as wide as he needed to work on my teeth. His assistants would look at me in sympathy but I felt sympathy for them because they had to work with him all day. It was great when I finally had my braces off and never had to see him again. He did do a good job on my teeth though.
I heard an interesting story on a podcast recently about lazy eye and cats – they did an experiment of keeping kittens with lazy eye in the dark for a week, and once their eyes adjusted to the light again the lazy eye was nearly as strong as the other one, something like that.
remember this strip y’all about the first time Sally had the eye patch on and she hit a boy?? she was crying and Charlie asked why are you crying or something like that and Sally said this boy called me Long John Silvers!! and Charlie said well that’s no reason to cry and Sally said it’s not that..I hurt my hand giving him a judo chop!.. remember that strip y’all????
