waitaminute! clayton plays hockey (upon occasion)…shouldn’t he have a hockey mask lying around somewhere that he could use?

Looking at the last frame, I get the impression that Clayton needs to be outfitted with a Samari sword.

Doctor Toon, didn’t that spider just disintegrate on impact? Clayton better hurry up if they want spaghetti for dinner.

I hate to admit it, but this all might have taken place at our house. My husband goes into “arachnaleptic fits” over every spider except Daddy Long legs.

As long as I’m bigger than the spider (pretty much a given), if I want to get rid of it, there’s a one step solution.

Both sieves and colanders can be used to drain spaghetti. This happens to be a sieve, if you want to be technical. Janis’s description of it as “spaghetti strainer” is accurate enough, and may be the only thing she ever uses it for.

I have never really understood extreme arachnophobia. Here in the US in particular, the only poisonous spiders are pretty easy to swat if you don’t want them around. They won’t be jumping towards you, so a face mask is worse than useless. “Worse than” because it interferes with your vision, and therefore your aim.

Oven cleaner is quite effective when sprayed on them.
