(Voice 3: Save yourself, MQ-9!) (Man 3: And so, a grateful nation awards you the distinguished warfare medal.) (Man 2: Really? It ranks higher than the purple heart?) Because no soldier is worth $13 million a unit!

Maybe you should pay more attention. Check out the last panel. The new medal proposed by Leon Panetta is a disgrace to the men and women who serve on the front lines. My father received the Purple Heart in WWII, and this medal is equivalent to awarding an artillaryman who fires from miles away with no return fire a higher award.

Keep it up, Ted. Next step: give the medal to a corporation which outsources to Chinese prisoners to do their online work: both combat and astroturfing

I think it’s a great cartoon, thought provoking, particularly about the medal for anybody that keeps up with the news.
