I like ‘Addie Shawn’.

Won’t be long now till Juan is the loneliest number…

This Morning Juan Martinez an illegal alien was found shot to death in an alleyway in downtown Las Vegas. According to authorities he was shot with what looked to be some sort of golf gun.

When asked what a golf gun was, authorities shrugged their shoulders and said “We don’t know but it sure made a hole in Juan”.

All three ended up working for Lawrence Welk.

Juan is the loneliest number…

Not being number 1 is so hard.

Strange to say, I’m no math wonk and have had to personalize numbers in order work with them. I have internalized conceptions of a lot of numbers, related to all kinds of encounters with them over the years. Some of them have “colors.” It’s hard to explain. To math-inclined people, working with numbers must be a pleasurable game. To me, it’s a continuing story that counterpoints with details in my life.

Something isn’t adding up.
