Taxes? Who has to pay them? Not me, right?

Nowadays, most peoples’ income statement is, “I don’t have any!”

I kind of doubt that the ORIGINAL cartoon used the year 2006! Wish whoever makes changes like that would figure out that it is more fun when they keep all of the ORIGINAL dates and numbers intact! Even in the early 60s, the AVERAGE individual’s average YEARLY income was in the neighborhood of $3,000 to $5,000 per year!

I thought maybe that was George McManus’ Mr. Newlywed for a second.

You cheated. You used Chinese Arithmetic to figure that out.

I wonder what the original date of this strip was?

For real . .! That was probably the late 30’s or early 40’s .. .

Shame on whoever tried to “update” our great cartoon"!How would they like their own birthdate updated by decades?
