You’ve got to tell them that you’re buying the rounds after the match – providing they win !

I’m playing chauffeur to my grandson today. He’s staying for a few days and I’ve got to get him to high school ( which is about an hour away ) by 8:30 am, so I’ve got to grab a couple of hours sleep. Talk to everyone later.BTW He was playing around with changing my avatar yesterday – which, in case anyone noticed, was why there were so many changes.

Very good strip today, maybe a bit wordy (Smythe would have got the point across without explaining the entire book); but, very good, nonetheless

Once again, we go back in time to meet one of Andy’s ancestors… all the way back to the Roman conquest of Britain:

‘Arf a mo’ there, Coach, there’s a lot of knowledge available at the pub…

Not only do the boys have a clueless coach, they’ve got a useless trainer…

There are quite a few Andy’s without Andy but all of them seem to have Flo if they don’t have Andy. (Usually she’d be with Rube or at home waiting for Andy to come swimming in from the canal.)@MikeyjAndy always DID like to take a Roman holiday, and now I see that he comes by it naturally from his ancestors!

Haven’t done it yet. So so cool again today. I recinched the straps I have on two thin trees to get them going more or less straight up. They are attached to about a 3 inch diameter dead trunk that I had the presence of mind not to cut down last year. I may go run some new watering lines shortly. I hate working on cars when its cold, windy etc. One tends to rush when doing “careful” work under less than good conditions….. or maybe I’m just lazy ?You have two weeks in which to “get good”. You are in my thoughts . Good day.

You’re very far from being lazy… I can’t think of anybody who likes doing maintenance jobs in cold or wet conditions.

To quote you – “A man needs a garage!”

My day was OK… But I’m unwinding now.

May you have a pleasant day also.

Hey all of the best group in the whol comics world!!!! I got busy this week getting my tech worked out here at home and have neglected my friends. ATT restored my DSL on Tuesday. When they did they cut it from 6 megs to 3. It was worse then ever. I calle the local cable company and dropped Direct TV also. Cable set me up with about the same TV as before AND 30 meg of internet.. I don’t drop off line anymore and I can support my laptop and all four of the grandkids wi-fi devices plus all of our devices. I am now, truly a HIGH TECH REDNECK. My new cell phones came this week, refurbished Galaxy S3’s. One for the Boss Lady and one for me. The new phones are GSM and I can roll around my home area and never drop a call. This is so cool. Now, I just have to keep the bills paid. So, I can get online faster, make calls faster and better, and help the grandkids stay occupied. Life is good for a day or two. Getting all this setup and my regular errands for the last couple of days has been a killer but I did it. Now, aren’t you guys proud of this old fart?

I totally agree with Number Six, the current bunch doing Capp are a buch of turds. Get with it guys.

Chalkie J remember that you don’t eat the yellow snow and that the poodle bites and the poodle snaps.

A Garage is the common Joe’s Man Cave. the place to drink white Port and Lemon juice, if so be-ded. It doesn’t have to be wowwie-zowwie, either; might just be a place to shut up ’n play.

Essentially it is a SIM card based system for cell phones. ATT and T-Mobile are Gsm based. The rest are CDMA. CDMA towers do not have the strength and range that GSM have. Sprint is CDMA and won’t work in Montana at all. Verison and AllTell are also CDMA but both work everywhere ther is service. Confused yet? Verison/Alltell have more towers but ATT/T-Mobile are stronger where they have their towers. My old cell was CDMA, I gave it to my granddaughter.
